40TH ANNUAL CORNHUSKER STATE GAMES:

DATE: July 20, 2024

SITE: Branched Oak State Recreation Area (15 miles northwest of Lincoln) – View Map
Boat launching will be from the Lincoln Sailing Club site. NO ACTIVITIES WILL OCCUR AT THE MARINA as in previous years. Lincoln Sailing Club address: plus code X4HC+38 Malcolm, Elk, NE; Lat/Long: 40°58’41.6?N 96°52’44.4?W

STATE PARK PERMITS: State park permits are needed for vehicles to enter Branched Oak State Recreation Area. Permits may be purchased at the park.

TIMES:
8-8:30 a.m. – Arrive and rig boat. (Lincoln Sailing Club mast crane will be available for use)
9:15 a.m. – Skippers meeting.
10:30 a.m. – First race.
Noon – Lunch provided.
6 p.m. – Racing done, dinner (provided) and social gathering at Lincoln Sailing Club grounds.

NOTE: Skipper meetings will be at Lincoln Sailing Club clubhouse.

AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to each crew member of the top three finishing boats in each class.
