The regatta this past weekend was really something special. The weather forecast was for temperatures in the mid 90s with high humidity and light breeze. For a regatta with 85 boats in attendance, on an inland reservoir, that could have been a sign of death.
However, the wind rolled in just in time to race. We had rather steady breezes around 10 knots both days ( a little lighter on Saturday, a bit more on Sunday) which made the course very fun and lively with plenty of opportunity for all the fleet members to show off their skills.
