Why sail a Buccaneer 18?
1. It's a "sit in" rather than a "sit on" boat.
2. The sloop design includes a spinnaker with launch tube and roller furling jib.
3. A capsized Buccaneer is "self-rescuing" and can be righted and sailed away without assistance.
4. The nearly symmetrical-heeled water line eliminates most weather helm caused by heeling.
5. The wide beam at the waterline plane eliminates the need for a trapeze.
6. The boat's potential performance exceeds that of any non-trapeze design so that it is capable of handsomely rewarding the skills of the helmsman and crew.
7. Arrrrr! -- We call 'em Buccs and who doesn't want to be a Pirate???!!!
